Back on Thursday!

Finally, after a week off with a sore calf and chest cold, I too got out in the 60 degree weather yesterday. My first mile felt fine, but my right calf tightened up again, so I ended up walk/running my way through a 4 miler. Took me just under 54 minutes in total as I had a lot of walking breaks in there. I think the key for me is to get as many days in as possible each week, and take walking breaks as needed until I get a base built up. Like Mike, I can't believe how slow my return is going. But I'm determined to hang in there and get back to actual runs sometime soon! -- Bill
