Since I cut the grass before I ran, I figured that would count for the walk I've been doing before starting a slow run. Decided a nice four miler would be a good workout and started my watch. I was expecting to walk after a mile but felt that I would just see what would happen if I just kept going. First mile: 12:02, second mile: 10:42, third mile: 9:11, fourth mile: 8:21 (40:16). I know it's slow but I'm still pretty heavy and not getting any younger! This was probably the most encouraging workout I've had in weeks.....Mike

Way to go, Mike. Those are really good splits and a good overall time.
