Comfortable

Overslept a few minutes this morning and didn't get out until 6 a.m. The temperature was 81, but I was only planning to go 3 or 3.5, so it didn't matter how hot it was. Once I got outside it was  immediately obvious that the humidity was lower than in past mornings, probably because I'd waited a little longer. I thought it was almost comfortable.
I walked the first quarter mile, then rolled into a slow run that increased in speed from mile to mile. I felt good all the way, except for some arthritic pain in my right ankle area that worked itself out after a couple miles. That's something that comes and goes with me.
Finished with 4.3 miles in 39:55, for an average of 9:17.
